Local Council

There are Greens councillors and Mayors across NSW. We have had Greens councillors on Wyong and Gosford councils for many years, representing a significant number of residents. Our councillors have always spoken out to protect the Coast environment, whether it is bush, beach, waterways, settlements or farmland. They have advocated for truly sustainable development, and for Council to take a lead in matters of social justice. Because Greens councillors never represent property development, they can act as the balance on councils between the needs of residents, business and the environment.

When democracy is restored to the Central Coast, we hope the Greens will continue to be part of council decision making on your behalf. Local Council Elections
