The Central Coast Greens will be contesting the election this year. Our candidates will be announced soon.

The Greens in the Senate.

There are now five Greens in the Senate of the Australian Government. All have a long history of involvement in environmental and social issues.

Bill of Rights and Responsibilities

With the increased powers given to ASIO, many people are concerned that we do not have a Bill of Rights. The Australian Greens, under a policy for Constitutional Reform and Democracy, will work to include a Bill of rights and responsibilities in the Australian Constitution.

The 24th November 2007 Federal Election.

The Central Coast Greens contested the seats of Robertson and Dobell in October 2007.
In the electorate of Robertson, the Greens Candidate Mira Wroblewski maintained the 2004 vote.
In the Dobell electorate, the Greens candidate Scott Rickard achieved a swing of over 5%.

Federal Elections, October 2004.

The Central Coast Greens contested the seats of Robertson and Dobell in October 2004. In the electorate of Robertson, the Greens got nearly 8% of the vote. In the Dobell electorate, a vote of over 5% was achieved. .
