Election night party

Greens pizza, BYO drinks, 116 Mann St Gosford (and say farewell to our trusty, leaky, pop-up election office) from 6pm.

Due to election exhaustion, we’ve cancelled this months ordinary local group meeting, originally scheduled for Thursday 16 May (sorry for short notice). June 20, when we’re all refreshed, will include a debrief of the elections – hope to see new faces there.

It’s always tricky to schedule an election night party especially with the vast distances we have on the Coast. But if you are still standing at 6pm, and not scrutineering, please join us for a simple celebration of a job well done – and fingers crossed that Mehreen gets back to the Senate.

Some of you have gone above and beyond this pre-poll, which we all hope is the last 3 weeker of its kind. Meanwhile, there are still big booths without enough volunteers on Saturday. If you have suddenly found an hour or so to help out, or are sick of the sight of Scott Morrison and determined to do something about it, your help on a booth will lift the Greens vote. Sadly, 20% of voters won’t decide until they have a How To Vote in their hand – so let’s make it a Greens one.
