COAL-ASH COMMUNITY ALLIANCE

This important community alliance works to: Protect the land, lakes, waterways and people of Lake Macquarie and the Central Coast from pollution caused by the Vales Point and Eraring coal-fired power stations and coal-ash waste.

SAVE WYONG TREES

In 2015 Councillors in Wyong voted to clear all vegetation on properties of less than 1500m2. Save Wyong Trees successfully  lobbied Council to ensure appropriately qualified staff were used to identify tree species as well as requiring replacement plantings for trees that were removed.

COMMUNITY ENVIRONMENT NETWORK

The Community Environment Network (CEN) is an over arching body to support individuals and groups in Lake Macquarie, Wyong and Gosford who are working for the environment.
