Plant a habitat corridor
Grow Urban Shade Trees has been given over 100 seedlings of native flannel flowers and native iris to plant at one of the parks that GUST has established for increasing habitat corridors.

Annual National Conference of the Australian Greens
The November 2021 Annual National Conference of the Australian Greens is open to all members with a special program for non-members.
A stream of panel discussions and workshops to round out a challenging two years and in preparation for our federal election campaign.
We begin on Saturday with a First Nations Talking Circle, followed by an address by Adam Bandt.
The formal part of our program for members also includes an address by our outgoing National Convenor, Catherine Garner, and a Q&A session with our federal Party Room.

Community Meeting with United Nations Special Rapporteur on Toxics and Human Rights

You’ll hear from local advocates who have campaigned tirelessly for action on coal pollution and the health and human rights abuses associated with that pollution and from EJA lawyers looking at legal avenues for change. You’ll also learn about the UN’s role in elevating community voices for better health and environmental protections, and there will be time at the end of the event for questions to all speakers.

Snap gathering against the extension of Earring Power Station Beyond 2025

Origin Energy signalled their plans to get out of coal long ago. Still, the NSW Government is now deliberating whether to extend the life of the Eraring power station beyond 2025, based on a report from a former CEO of the Energy Retailers Association.
Coal power has been pummelling our estuary, health and climate with adverse pollution impacts for decades.
We want a fast and fair transition from coal power, so we're not left behind!
